Coach Rod is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer with a passion for helping others in the gym. Rod discovered his passion for training after getting into weightlifting and spending time learning with a fitness mentor in the field. In addition to coaching at Force, Rod works fulltime as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Rod grew up in Agawam, MA and currently lives in Springfield. Outside of the gym, he enjoys mountain biking, riding quads and practicing martial arts. Fun Fact: Rod used to work full time for Fleet Feet and is extremely knowledgeable about exercise shoe brands and fitting runners for sneakers!

Kyle is an experienced athlete who has dedicated himself to studying fitness training over the past several years. He is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and has been coaching with Force since early 2024. His experience with sports, training in the gym and working for the YMCA motivated him to become a personal trainer with hopes to spread his knowledge with other people and help them learn to love fitness.
Kyle grew up and currently lives in Ellington, CT.. Fun fact: he is a twin! Outside of the gym he manages his own Car Detailing business and loves to go salt water fishing.

Lexie is a NASM Certified personal trainer with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. Lexie is a well-rounded athlete with a background in competitive swimming, wrestling and weight training. Her passion for working with people and empowering others to feel confident motivated her to become a fitness coach. In addition to Force, Lexie works full time as the manager of a Physical Therapy office.
Lexie grew up in southern Maine and currently lives in Ellington. In addition to Force, Lexie works full time as the manager of a Physical Therapy office. When she isn’t lifting or working, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. A fun fact about about Lexie is that she built her first car!

Tyler grew up in East Granby, CT. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Castleton University and is currently finishing his Master’s Degree at Springfield College. Tyler’s coaching experience has mainly been working with college athletes through his strength and conditioning internships at Castleton University, Springfield College, and University of Virginia Men’s Basketball. He has worked with athletes in a variety of sports including Basketball, Field Hockey, Soccer, Baseball, and Distance Running.
Outside of coaching at Force, Tyler currently works at Westminster School in Simsbury CT as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. When he isn’t in the gym, he enjoys fishing, snowboarding, visiting new breweries and going to concerts!

Ciara Manning is a coach at Force Fitness and has been training since 2019. In addition to coaching at Force, Ciara is pursuing her Doctorate degree in Kinesiology in Exercise Science at the University of Connecticut. Her research has focused on endurance athletes and exercising in heat. Topics include perceptions of recovery vs physiological recovery, heat acclimation responses, cooling strategies, wearable technology and sleep quality/quantity just to name a few!
Ciara was born in Lewes, Delaware and grew up in Chester County, Pennsylvania but currently lives in Manchester. When she isn’t working or studying, Ciara enjoys long distance running, hiking, paddleboarding, going to the beach, reading and podcasts. She is currently training for her first ultra marathon (50 miles) with plans for a 100 mile ultra within the one to two years.

It pushed me to pursue a lifestyle dedicated to improving my fitness and myself as a person. My journey motivates me to help others experience their own transformations and victories. Ryan is a coach with Force Fitness and has been training since 2009. He brings a wide range of experience to the team having held many roles in fitness such as personal training, group coaching, sales and operations management. Ryan is also an experienced public speaker having presented for many large companies on topics centered around wellness, customer service, employee engagement and productivity.
Ryan grew up in Bolton and currently lives in Coventry. Outside of coaching, Ryan works full time as a Real Estate professional and is very involved in community events around CT. His hobbies include traveling, reading and bowling on Monday nights.
“Throughout my time working with individuals, groups, athletes and special populations, I’ve found a great deal of joy seeing people accomplish the day to day victory. As someone who worked through a pediatric hip disease, I enjoy working with folks who are overcoming a setback or working through an issue just as much as I love pushing those ready for a challenge. Lex has always enjoyed fitness but started to begin her formal education after her second child was born and she had trouble getting back into an effective fitness routine. She became more and more interested in nutrition and training and eventually earned her CPT certificate. Her goal is to teach others how to train and fuel their bodies to live a long healthy life. Previously, Lex had worked as an online health and fitness coach through 1st Phorm and has taught fitness classes out of her home gym and smaller studios.
Coach Lex grew up just outside of Philadelphia PA and eventually moved to Tolland with her family. She currently lives in Coventry with her boyfriend and two kids. Outside of her love for fitness, Lex enjoys music, dancing, sunsets, a good glass of wine, and Friday nights with her family! She also enjoys hiking and gardening.

Serene is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Certified and is currently finishing her degree in Communication and Marketing at the University of Connecticut. She began working in group fitness at a studio gym in 2019 as a membership advisor and then as a full time studio manager. She grew up playing sports and always had a passion for fitness so when she became a fitness coach, it felt like the perfect fit!
Serene grew up in Rocky Hill, CT and then later moved to Tolland where she currently lives with her family. Outside of the gym, she enjoys running and traveling whenever she has free time…. she has actually been to 27 countries in 4 different continents!

Samantha is the Founder of Force Fitness and has been a certified Fitness Trainer for ten years. She began her career as the Senior Director of Membership & Wellness for the YMCA of Newport County where she discovered her passion for health & wellness, community building, and small business. After leaving the YMCA, she worked full-time in HR and IT Project Management before returning to fitness as a group coach in South Windsor and Ellington.
Samantha grew up in East Hartford and currently lives with her husband Patrick in Tolland. She attended Salve Regina University in Newport, RI where she lived for over eight years.. When she is not working full-time at Force, you can find her performing with her acoustic duo at local restaurants, singing the National Anthem at Yard Goats games, visiting Newport and volunteering for town committees.
